Original Pretzel Crisps®
White chocolate or a block of solid cocoa butter
Sugar or brown sugar (optional)
Whipped cream

Find miniature cups, bowls or an egg crate. Line the bottom of each cavity with aluminum foil. Melt the chocolate or cocoa butter over low heat, either in a double boiler or in the microwave on a low setting. You can use the cocoa butter in place of white chocolate for less sweetness and sugar. Follow the cocoa butter packaging instructions for melting information. When melting, feel free to mix a touch of vegetable oil in to make the chocolate melt smoothly with ease.

Dip one edge of a Pretzel Crisps® into the chocolate, then as you place it into the cavity of the egg crate, join a second Pretzel Crisps® to the first along the edge. It should form a ‘V’ shape. Allow for the chocolate to harden at the bottom of the ‘V’.

Wash and dice the apples into very small pieces. Toss in some cinnamon, and if you like, sugar, to taste. We used only cinnamon to cut down on sugar intake. Scoop the apple mixture into a bowl, then cover it and place it in the refrigerator.

When you are ready to serve, spoon the apple mixture into Pretzel Crisps® taco shells. Dollop with a little whipped cream, and enjoy!
