Pretzel Crisps® Shamrock Wands

Make yourself a bit of luck this St. Patrick’s Day, with some Pretzel Crisps® Shamrock Wands. Only 2-3 ingredients and some pretty straws is all that’s required. Plus, they are very cute to give as gifts or serve at parties.

Decorative Straws

Melt green candy melts by heating them in a heat safe bowl in the microwave for 20 seconds. Stir, then repeat heating until smooth and melted throughout. Adding a very small splash of vegetable oil helps smooth out the candy melts more. You can also melt them in a mini crockpot on the lowest heat setting.

Spread some green chocolate onto the back of a Pretzel Crisps® then place on top of another Pretzel Crisps®. Shift both around so that they form three “bumps” to look like a three-leaf clover. Allow to cool and harden.


Dip decorative straw into candy melt then place on top of three-leaf clover. Allow to harden. Pick up straw and dip Pretzel Crisps® clover into the green candy melt. Use a spoon to push off excess chocolate, paying particular attention to corners in between each bump. Place on a piece of wax paper, parchment paper, or aluminum foil and cool.


Once hard, use a spoon to brush more chocolate around the edge of the clover. Pour sanding sugar over before chocolate hardens. Do this over a bowl so that you can pour excess sanding sugar back into sprinkle bottle.

Serve on a plate or sitting upright in a little bucket.
