Ingredients

Sriracha and Lime Pretzel Crisps®
1 cup dry macaroni
1/3 stick butter
2 T + 2 teaspoons flour
2/3 cup whole milk
2/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb ground beef
Worcestershire sauce
Italian parsley
Diced or minced garlic
Salt and pepper
1 egg

Directions

  1. Process Sriracha and Lime Pretzel Crisps® into crumbs and set to the side. Boil pasta until al dente.
  2. Melt butter on stove. Add flour and whisk until it thickens and browns a little. Pour in milk and whisk until it begins to thicken. Add cheese, a little at a time, while whisking. Add cheese until desired thickness. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove from stove and mix in pasta. Allow to cool.
  3. Spread ground beef into a casserole dish. Sprinkle on all ingredients, then mix in egg with a little of the Pretzel Crisps® crumbs. Do not over work the meat, just lightly mix.
  4. Form a thin, flat patty, then place a mound of macaroni and cheese on top. Add more ground beef to cover macaroni and cheese. Roll meatball in crumbs.
  5. Heat cast iron skillet to just below medium. Add oil, then cook meatballs, turning onto each side until browned. Test a meatball by cutting in half to see if it is cooked throughout.
